Upcoming Solo Show
I'm looking forward to my solo show “Discovering the Color and Light of the Carolinas”, November 28 (opening) through January 19, 2026, at the Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Realtors in downtown Wilmington, NC. 19-A Market Street.
Most of the work I am showing are paintings I've done since moving here 3 ½ years from Colorado. As many cities do, Wilmington has one Friday night a month when all the galleries are open late for an “Art Walk.” Here it is every Fourth Friday. The Berkshire Hathaway is one of the venues that regularly hosts exhibits where art can enjoyed and purchased as well. I love this location because it is on the main historical street (Market) heading into Wilmington and located close to where it ends at the Cape Fear River. The actual historic and charming downtown area is not that large, but it manages to have several art events going on, not just on Fourth Friday, but all week. The ArtWorks and its Verranzano Gallery where I regularly show my work and have a studio, is open every Fourth Friday. 400 Willard St. However, I will be at the Berkshire Hathaway for the reception of my show on November 28.
It has been a stimulating journey finding my way as an artist here, and embracing the differences between painting at a mile high in Colorado to the Carolinas. The main hallmark of artwork – Color and Light – that never changes. I hope some of you come to the show.
